Stressors are inevitable and usually out of our control, however, how we perceive and cope with our stress can change the way we experience day to day overwhelm, difficult times, and overall quality of life. This 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course is adapted from the curriculum of Jon Kabat- Zinn. In 1979 Kabat-Zinn a professor of medicine, founded the Stress Reduction Clinic and Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and his curriculum has been used as the basis for hundreds of studies showing the numerous benefits of a Mindfulness Practice.
Each week a new topic and meditation will be introduced to assist with the practice and understanding of living in the present moment.

Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning April 24th at 7:00 pm for 8 weeks with the last class on Wednesday June 12th.
All classes are held at Shea Tree Wellness 1239 Manahan Avenue in Winnipeg.
